- If you bought before July 23, 2024, you functionally have an option to compute tax at 20% WITH indexation and pay whichever is lower (Grandfathering effect). This calculator uses the simplified 12.5% flat rate.
- Surcharge and Cess are not factored into this calculation.
- Save Tax: You can save LTCG up to ₹10 Crore by reinvesting the proceeds in a residential house under Section 54/54F.
