Important Note on Overlimit
As per RBI guidelines, banks cannot automatically let your transaction go over the limit unless you have explicitly opted-in for the overlimit facility via your bank's app/portal.
- If you have not opted in, the transaction will simply decline, and no fee will be charged.
- If you have opted in, the transaction will be approved, but you will be charged the fee calculated above.
